Terms and Conditions

The mobile application "we-charge.eu" is provided by SIA "Media Partners," registration number 50003882281 (hereinafter referred to as we-charge.eu). These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the Terms) apply to individuals who have downloaded the mobile application "we-charge.eu" software on their mobile devices from the AppStore or Google Play (hereinafter referred to as the User). By accepting these Terms, the User acknowledges having read and agrees to comply with the conditions set forth herein. If the User does not agree to these terms, further use of this application is not possible.

1. Description of the Mobile Application "we-charge.eu"

1.1. By using the mobile application "we-charge.eu," the User can make payments for purchases at we-charge.eu charging stations in Latvia by linking their bank cards (hereinafter referred to as Bank Cards) to the "we-charge.eu" mobile application.

1.2. The "we-charge.eu" mobile application is used under a simple license issued by we-charge.eu to the User. A simple license is free and is effective from the moment the "we-charge.eu" mobile application is downloaded until it is deleted.

1.3. we-charge.eu informs the User about payment options using the "we-charge.eu" mobile application through the app's markings displayed at we-charge.eu terminals.

1.4. Purchases made with the "we-charge.eu" mobile application are visible in the "History" and "Recent Transactions" sections. Information about purchases is stored on the User's device for 90 days from the time of purchase or until the User exits the application or deletes it.

2. Use of the "we-charge.eu" Mobile Application

2.1. To use the "we-charge.eu" mobile application, the User must download it to their mobile device.

2.2. The User needs to authenticate by entering the required information.

2.3. The correct operation of the functions offered by the "we-charge.eu" mobile application depends on the User's mobile device.

2.4. An active internet connection (mobile data, Wi-Fi, etc.) is a mandatory condition for using the "we-charge.eu" mobile application.

2.5. The User can download the "we-charge.eu" mobile application for use on multiple devices. If the User deletes the "we-charge.eu" mobile application from their device or switches to a new device, they must reinstall the application for continued use. After reinstallation, information about transactions made with the we-charge.eu card will be retained. we-charge.eu does not guarantee the retention of information about transactions made with a Bank Card after reinstalling the application.

2.6. It is the User's responsibility to take measures to prevent unauthorized access to the "we-charge.eu" mobile application by individuals without the right to access it.

2.7. The right to make payments is reserved for individuals registered in the "we-charge.eu" mobile application.

3. Payment Procedure at we-charge.eu Charging Stations

3.1. Park your car at the preferred terminal and turn off the engine.

3.2. Using the "we-charge.eu" mobile application, find the location of the charging station and select the "Start Charging" icon.

3.3. Choose the payment method for the transaction. If the main payment method is selected in the "Card Settings" section, no further selection is required, and the payment will be made with the main payment method.

3.4. After preauthorization, you can begin charging within five minutes.

3.5. When charging is complete, return the charging nozzle to the terminal.

3.6. An electronic receipt for the charging session is available in the "we-charge.eu" mobile application, under the "History" section.

4. Termination of the Use of the "we-charge.eu" Mobile Application

4.1. The User has the right to terminate the use of the "we-charge.eu" mobile application at any time by exiting the application or deleting it from their device.

4.2. If the User becomes aware or suspects that their "we-charge.eu" mobile application account has received or may receive unauthorized access by another person, the User must take immediate security measures (including changing the "we-charge.eu" mobile application password and changing the PIN code for the linked payment methods) to mitigate potential risks.

4.3. If the "we-charge.eu" mobile application is deleted, the User will no longer be able to use the "we-charge.eu" mobile application on their device. If the User wishes to use the "we-charge.eu" mobile application again, they must download the application again.

5. Liability

5.1. The User is responsible for the legality of transactions and actions using the "we-charge.eu" mobile application and their consequences. Disputes with third parties (including the institution issuing the payment card and individuals who have gained unauthorized access to the "we-charge.eu" mobile application) are the responsibility of the User.

5.2. we-charge.eu is only responsible for the proper operation of the "we-charge.eu" mobile application as a platform in accordance with these Terms.

5.3. we-charge.eu provides the "we-charge.eu" mobile application on an "as-is" basis and is not obligated to ensure the continuous and error-free operation of the "we-charge.eu" mobile application. we-charge.eu is not responsible for losses that may arise if the "we-charge.eu" mobile application is not functioning or cannot be used as intended.

5.4. The User agrees to notify we-charge.eu of any claims related to the use of the "we-charge.eu" mobile application no later than 30 days from the occurrence of the reasons for such claims.

5.5. we-charge.eu is not liable for the proper operation of services offered by third parties using the "we-charge.eu" mobile application, such as issues with the use of Bank Cards.

6. Data Processing

6.1. The use of the "we-charge.eu" mobile application involves we-charge.eu processing User data, including personal data (name, surname, mobile phone number, email address), and data generated by using the "we-charge.eu" mobile application, including payment data and location information (hereinafter referred to as Data). we-charge.eu shares Data with entities related to the provision of services using the "we-charge.eu" mobile application (e.g., banks).

6.2. we-charge.eu processes customer data in accordance with the we-charge.eu Privacy Policy.

6.3. we-charge.eu processes Data to ensure the use of the "we-charge.eu" mobile application for making payments at we-charge.eu fuel stations (legitimate interests) and to fulfill legal obligations under these Terms and the we-charge.eu Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to the Terms and Functionality of the "we-charge.eu" Mobile Application, Termination of Service

7.1. we-charge.eu has the right to unilaterally make changes to these Terms by notifying Users on the website www.we-charge.eu. From the moment the notice of changes is sent to the User's registered email address, it is considered that the User has been informed of the changes. If the User does not agree to the changes, they undertake to delete the "we-charge.eu" mobile application. If the User continues to use the "we-charge.eu" mobile application, it is considered that they have accepted the relevant changes.

7.2. Users must download software updates for the "we-charge.eu" mobile application as they contain new functionality or changes to existing features, bug fixes,and security system updates.

7.3. we-charge.eu reserves the right to terminate the provision of services through the "we-charge.eu" mobile application at any time by providing 30 days' notice. The relevant notice will be sent to the User's registered email address through the "we-charge.eu" mobile application. we-charge.eu is not responsible for any consequences if the User has been unable to use the "we-charge.eu" mobile application.

8. Other Terms

In matters not regulated by these Terms, we-charge.eu and the User will adhere to the applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia.
